Our story
Bespoke wooden windows & doors, made in Scotland since 1981
Since 1981, Hilston & Bennett has made bespoke wooden windows and doors for homeowners, architects and builders across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and the rest of central Scotland. Every piece is prepared to your specification in our own factory, using timber from well-managed forests.
From a single stable door to new sash and case windows or casement windows for a listed townhouse, we bring the same care: matching original profiles and mouldings, advising on conservation requirements and fitting with minimal disruption.

Period and listed properties need windows and doors that satisfy conservation officers as well as homeowners. We replicate original sections, glazing bars and mouldings so new joinery sits naturally in historic streets across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Perthshire.

Your windows and doors are made to measure in our workshop, primed or painted in one or two colours, then fitted with care by our own team.
