Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hilston & Bennett supplied and installed new wooden casement windows in my home. The windows are stunning, and were fitted with the highest professional care and attention to detail.
The lead-time was longer than I had hoped for, but well worth the wait. Sandra

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had our old victorian door replaced. After much research we found Hilston & Bennett who specialise in bespoke carpentry. This company has been a great find for us and from start to finish have given expert advice and produced and installed a fantastic product . We are both delighted with our new door and fittings. A big thank you to Lynn and David who both spent time with us to ensure we received a top quality product. With the expertise of Allan and Colin through installation and production the end product and process could not have been better. We would not hesitate to recommend Hilston and Bennett for any future work.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've had windows from these guys for at least the last 10 years and they've always been excellent quality and delivered on time and as ordered. Will need a few more in the next couple of years and will certainly come back here to get them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We needed internal doors to match the originals in our 1920s house after building work. Had quotes from a few places for bespoke (non standard sizes and rare style) but the prices were really high so we’d decided to go for doors that weren’t a match but could be made in our non standard size by an on-line supplier down south somewhere . A friend mentioned someone he knew from years ago who ‘did that sort of thing’ and that’s how we came across Hilton & Bennett. Almost didn’t bother getting them to quote but so glad we did. The quote was done quickly and was significantly less than others. Being honest it was still more than we imagined we’d have to pay when we set out but we were naive obviously. They sent someone out free of charge to check it all over when we said we were a bit nervous about our measurements. The doors were made in a week and we picked them up the other day . They’re solid and beautiful. They’ve been primed ready for painting and the finish is smooth & silky. The joiner who measured up took away a piece of our trim and said they’d match it if they had the right cutter. They did match it and even gave us the unused trim they made which we’ll use to tidy up other doors. Really looking forward to them getting hung next week.
